About Nehad
Where academic depth meets field experience
An advisor in cultural and creative industries and creative entrepreneurship, turning research and experience into effective policy and programmes.
Nehad Alhadi is an advisor in cultural and creative industries and creative entrepreneurship, combining academic depth with extensive field experience in the creative sector. She is currently pursuing PhD research in creative industries and creative entrepreneurship at Edith Cowan University in Australia and holds a Master’s degree in Information Science from City St George’s, University of London.
Her work focuses on cultural policy design, creative economy measurement, and the development of creative entrepreneurship ecosystems at national and regional levels, with a particular emphasis on Gulf and Arab contexts.
Over the past decade, Nehad has worked extensively within the creative industries and led the Cultural and Creative Industries Mapping Project in Oman, the first national initiative of its kind to map and analyse the sector. The project contributed to supporting policymakers in developing effective policies and strategies for strengthening the creative economy and advancing creative entrepreneurship.
Nehad welcomes opportunities for research and advisory collaboration with public and private entities, cultural institutions, and academics interested in advancing the creative industries, creative economy, and creative entrepreneurship across the region.
